Today Alam Flora Environmental Solutions (AFES) was honoured with an official working visit by Y.B. Datuk Hajah Zuraida binti Kamaruddin, Minister of Housing and Local Government, to our Incinerator Plant in Pulau Pangkor, Perak.
A briefing session was done by AFES’ Chief Operating Officer, Encik Nazar bin Abdul Raof. He further explained on how AFES manage the operations of the incinerator plant. This was followed by visit to the plant control room, where our special guest and entourage, gained better insights on the facilities and monitoring system of the plant which handles up to 20 tonnes of solid waste per day. AFES uses a new monitoring system technology that complies with the additional parameters of the new air emission rules.
YB Datuk Hajah Zuraida also officiated the ‘Centre Of Excellence’ (COE), a first of such in Malaysia.
